RWS children enjoy decorating Fairtrade cotton
The Rajasthani Welfare Society (RWS) organised their first children’s party and were delighted to feature an activity for children aged 3-13: designing bunting on Fairtrade cotton. The activity took an hour and ran alongside other activities during the Easter fun party.

On 6 April the Ealing Fairtrade Group supported by Jo Mortensen of Ealing Council invited the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and local MP to help show off Fairtrade cotton bunting. The designs came from school, library and public events with people of all ages taking part. Children especially had a very creative time and it was also popular with families. The team were delighted to have Aruna Anand, CEO of the Network of Asian Fairtrade Producers, accompanied by Fairtrade London’s Campaigns Manager Malcolm Clark, present and discuss relevant issues with the Ealing Fairtrade Group members.
