Dubble, the chocolate brand created just for children by Comic Relief and Divine Chocolate, is 10 years old next month. We asked some of Dubble’s celebrity supporters’ what they thought. Here they are in their own words:

Jo Brand: “When Dubble was launched back in 2000 – I thought it was a great idea and it really struck a chord with kids who know about things being ‘fair’ and ‘not fair’. Dubble and Divine galvanise people to get behind Fairtrade – and give us great chocolate at the same time. Happy Birthday Dubble”

Ben Elton: Ten Dubbly good years deserves a Dubbly big bang. Dubble is the chocolate bar with a mission. It has inspired the young generation to make a noise about Fairtrade and has proven that change is possible”

Tony Robinson: “A chocolate bar just for children; award-winning resources for teachers; multimedia campaigns for young people. Dubble is Fairtrade and delicious, with a dash of Comic Relief. Not just a cunning plan – Dubble, you’ve done it!”

Richard Curtis: “Happy Birthday Dubble and we look forward to more Dubbly exciting years working together making change happen in Africa”

And finally one of our favourite childhood reads, The Beano, told us: “From one ‘Dubble Trouble’ to another… Dennis, Gnasher and everyone at The Beano would like to wish Dubble happy 10th birthday!”

Don’t forget you’re invited to help us celebrate our 10th birthday at the London Fairtrade Festival next weekend. See you there.
